ONE FOURTH VENTURES

Code Of Conduct

This applies to all members, employees, partners, founders, and associates of One Fourth Ventures,
including those engaging in our physical and virtual workspaces, accelerator programs,
investment initiatives, and business collaborations.

Why this exists

At One Fourth Ventures, we believe that organizations thrive when they prioritize employee well-being, inclusivity, and ethical conduct. A respectful, transparent, and supportive work culture fosters productivity, innovation, and collaboration.

This Code of Conduct provides a framework to evaluate behaviors, ensuring that our workplace remains professional, ethical, and inclusive. Every individual associated with One Fourth Ventures is expected to adhere to these principles, contributing to a safe and growth-oriented community.

This document outlines the key values and behaviors that define our culture and sets expectations for professional conduct, inclusive actions, and ethical decision-making.

What it entails

One Fourth Ventures is committed to fostering an environment that is inclusive and respectful for all, irrespective of race, caste, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender identity, age, disability, neurodiversity, sexual orientation, or political beliefs.

Diversity makes us stronger. We celebrate different perspectives and strive for a
culture where unique viewpoints are welcomed while ensuring that no individual or
group feels isolated. Every individual has a role to play in creating an environment that is safe, professional, and conducive to growth.

Be respectful

We value mutual respect in all interactions. Differences in opinions are natural, but they should never result in hostility or dismissiveness. We encourage open dialogue and curiosity while ensuring that all contributions are acknowledged with kindness and professionalism.

  • Respect others' perspectives, even if you disagree.
  • Avoid dismissive, rude, or aggressive communication.
  • If your words or actions cause harm, be ready to listen, apologize sincerely, and make amends.
  • Leaders should be mindful of their impact and ensure they do not create undue stress on their teams.

Be inclusive

We believe in diverse perspectives as a driving force behind innovation. Inclusion goes beyond representation-it means ensuring that all voices are heard and valued.

  • Be mindful of unconscious biases and take active steps to counter them.
  • Create spaces where everyone feels comfortable sharing their ideas.
  • Encourage diverse perspectives and avoid monopolizing conversations.
  • Offer multiple ways for participation-written, verbal, or visual contributions.

Be supportive

Professional and personal challenges can impact performance. We foster a culture where colleagues support each other through compassion and understanding.

  • Offer assistance to colleagues who may be facing difficulties.
  • Be a proactive listener and create an environment of psychological safety.
  • Recognize that different people experience confidence and challenges in different ways.
  • Encourage mentorship, guidance, and collective growth.

Be transparent
but professional

Honest communication builds trust, but it must be balanced with respect and professionalism. We encourage open feedback while ensuring that interactions remain constructive.

  • Address disagreements with professionalism, focusing on solutions rather than blame.
  • Constructive feedback should be specific, actionable, and delivered with empathy.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Ensure that transparency never compromises professionalism or decorum.

Be empathetic

Empathy strengthens teams. Understanding colleagues' experiences and perspectives leads to better collaboration and decision-making.

  • Listen actively and acknowledge others' experiences.
  • Avoid assuming intent-seek clarification before forming judgments.
  • Recognize and support the personal and professional challenges of team members.
  • Strive for solutions that consider the well-being of all stakeholders.

Harassment,
Personal Attacks,
Bullying, Disruption,
and Discrimination

One Fourth Ventures upholds a strict zero-tolerance policy against any form of harassment, bullying, or discrimination. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Sexual comments, jokes, advances, or inappropriate physical contact.
  • Derogatory remarks, slurs, or insults based on identity or background.
  • Intimidation, stalking, or other forms of harassment (physical or digital).
  • Unwanted or persistent attention after rejection of personal interest.
  • Retaliation against individuals who report inappropriate behavior.
  • Workplace disruptions, including creating a hostile or unsafe environment.

If you witness or experience any form of harassment or discrimination, we encourage you to report it to the designated internal compliance team for necessary action.

Confidentiality will be maintained, and all concerns will be addressed with urgency and fairness.

Enforcement

Any violation of this Code of Conduct will be taken seriously and investigated in accordance with Indian labor laws and company policies. Consequences may range from warnings to termination of employment or association, depending on the severity of the violation.

We believe that culture is not confined to our office spaces-it follows us in all professional settings, including remote work, industry events, and digital interactions. Employees and associates are expected to embody these values in all professional engagements.

One Fourth Ventures is committed to ensuring that our workplace remains safe, respectful, and inclusive. By upholding this Code of Conduct, we contribute to an organization that is built on integrity, diversity, and excellence.
